Civic Engagement Center
The Civic Engagement Center is the hub of volunteerism at Genesis City. We require 35 hours of community service for graduation.
Genesis participants have volunteered at the following agencies:

- APS Deer Valley Facility-Truck wash
- City of Phoenix Mayor's "Front Porch Bench Initiative"
- City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation Department
- City of Phoenix/Channel 33 Dropout Retrieval Telethon
(A Su Lado) - Creighton Schools Mentoring Program
- Dia de los Muertos Event - Patriot's Park
- Dia de los Ninos - Latino Institute
- Family Fair at Maryvale BB Park
- Komen for the Cure Phoenix Affiliate
- March of Dimes
- NCCJ
- Phoenix Family Museum
- Phoenix Prep Academy Reading Program
- Phoenix Ranch Market's Free Lunch Box Give Away
- Phoenix's Fabulous Fourth
- Release the Fear
- Served as a focus group for the Arizona Science Center and the Phoenix Art Museum to develop strategies to bolster teenage attendance
- Students served as facilitators at the City of Phoenix Youth Town Hall
- The Arizona Partnership for Immunization (TAPI)
- The Junior League of Phoenix
- The Latino Institute
